Jamie Pollack presidente de PRIDE Worldwide se pronuncio acerca de los recientes despidos y la clausura de la oficina en Tokio. Se dijo que PRIDE FC ya no realizara eventos pero que seguira la venta de DVD’s y la transmision por tv de eventos pasados.

The release cites uncooperative staff from Dream Stage Entertainment – PRIDE’s former parent company – as the reason behind the decision not to renew the rental contract on the building in which PRIDE FC Worldwide offices were housed. “Due to insufficient cooperation from the DSE staff, it became impossible to hold any future PRIDE events in Japan, making the need to close the offices imminent,” the release said.
