IFL sera transmitido en Latinoamerica
El dia de ayer se anuncio que HBO Latin America y The International Fight League han llegado a un acuerdo para transmitir a partir del 2008 el IFL en Latinoamerica, Brasil y el Caribe.
Es una excelente noticia que mas empresas de MMA se interesen en el publico latinoamericano, para asi darnos cuenta que MMA no es solo UFC y que hay otras ligas con bastante calidad.
Actualmente la oferta de MMA para latinoamerica es muy limitada. En Mexico podemos ver The Ultimate Fighter por FX, EliteXC por ESPN y MMAX Fights por Canal 52MX.
Esperemos que todo esto haga presion para que otras empresas se decidan a entrar a este mercado pronto.
NEW YORK, December 17, 2007 – The International Fight League (OTC.BB: IFLI) and Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) today announced that HBO Latin America, one of the fastest growing entertainment channels in Latin America will begin showing IFL content beginning in 2008. It is the IFL’s first Spanish Language partnership, and will cover Latin America, Brazil and the Caribbean.
“Serving one of the fastest growing demos for Mixed Martial Arts, the Hispanic market both in the United States and abroad, is a major priority for the IFL in 2008,” said IFL CEO Jay Larkin. “We are very pleased to be able to start that progress with one of the hallmark brands in all of broadcasting, HBO, and its Latin American arm.”
